I also use Google Maps where I search along the coast line as well as inland waterways looking for abandoned boats/ wrecks or used/ dis-used jetty's, the usual wooden or concrete posts that stick out of the water and are only visible at certain tide times.

TIDE TIMES
You can view high and low tidal predictions up to 7 days in advance using the handy calendar, including the sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset times as well as the current moon phase.
